Musing on sorrow and success

Psalm 32:10-11"Many are the sorrows of the wicked, But he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart." Psalms 32:10-11I. Sin leads to sorrow and scourgesII. All sin is lack of trust in the goodness, greatness, and grace of the LORD.III. Trust in the promises of the Lord will drown us in HIS faithful keeping of HIS promises and joy in relying on the LORD to forgive and preserve us in the darkest times. All kindred spirits must share the joy of a pardoned soul, and rejoice in the contemplation of God’s gracious dealings with His people.
