Are there good reasons to consider Christianity as the truth?
Many people in our society think that people who are Christians have no rational reasons for their faith.   In fact, the whole idea of “having faith” is understood as deciding to reject reason and logic in finding meaning to life.
While there are some people that do hold to Christianity with no rational basis just as there are some people who are “atheist” but not due to any careful and calm evaluation of reality but due to reactions to experiences in which they felt “God” failed them.   However, the fact that some people hold to their view of the world on an emotional instead of rational basis does not mean that no good reasons to accept the Christian worldview as a rational option in comprehending life and the world.
This seminar is for anyone who would like to know the reasons that support the acceptance of the Christian view of the universe.  Regardless if that person does not accept Christianity or if they do accept Christianity.   The purpose of this seminar is to simply review the intellectual and philosophical argument in favor of having Christian faith.
The seminar is to give a reason for the hope that Christians have in the person of Jesus of Nazareth who they claim is Immanuel and Messiah.
The hope is that this may cause those who do not have Christian faith to consider faith in Jesus as their LORD and Savior and for those who already have such faith that this will strengthen that conviction while providing answers to some of the questions people have considering the faith.
Dr. Norman Wise has been thinking about these issues since 1972.  Struggled himself with a temptation to accept atheism but came through his own unique process to the intellectual and existential conviction that Jesus of Nazareth is the way, truth, and life.
So join us for a night in which we will seek honest answers to honest questions.
